As an educator for 34 years. I be to overlap what are some of the most valuable goals for all cater. I truly believe that without trust and teamwork from teachers administration and board of education learning for our students is hurt. Trust and teamwork is the fuel that allows common populate to attain uncommon results. Teamwork takes more than just a group of populate trying to accomplish something together. It is a very specific way of using a common process so that the effectiveness of the assort effort is greater than the sum of the individual efforts. All are doing the alter things at the right times in the right ways with the right resources. Without the trust and encouragement for all learning cannot take place.
I'm a system design from EAFIT University in Medellin - Colombia. I'm working with some people developing a simulation program to students in Colombia label e-kampus virtual city business. This schedule tries to simulate a city with commerce to inform students between 16 and 20 years old in the world of business. It is a program to incentive the entrepreneurship in students of Colombia. In my country there is not much information about simulation games so I’m looking for information about simulation games and the relation with education. I ‘want to know if there is information or researches about the effectiveness of then application of simulation games on education.
Some educators reject the idea of a game-based learning environment as folly. However in thinking about the powerful intrinsic motivation in playful engagement. I query whether it can ever be said that nothing (whether desirable or undesirable) is learned from playig a bet that is at least somewhat challenging - regardless of its intentional or unintentional pedagogical content. What ultimately is being learned though will be on the individual's prior experiences against which the new (compete) experience is cast and the task/bet itself. Provided the assign/game is in the "Zone of Proximal Development" in terms of how much of a challenge the task is a learner/player is struggling with meaning-making of a new idea.
