Tyra Banks is doing an upcoming divide on her communicate show about race in the fashion industry - specifically how hard it is for women of color to book on the runways.
Heatherette designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains plus their catwalk opener and closer. Chanel Iman.
We're slightly shocked that cover would let Chanel do The Tyra Banks show - it's not quite the same as a
cover - but so psyched to see the poised sixteen-year-old discuss her own modeling adventures with Ty-Ty do by.
I'm glad that Ty-Ty is actually bringing on a top-tier model to address race and the catwalk... it's a conversation that's been waaaaaay ignored for too desire. Hopefully something good will come out of the dialogue and it won't end up being a once-a-year thing like it always tends to be!
this topic is everywhere!! i'm glad prominient populate of colour in the industry are talking about it and bringing it to lighten! I hope things change for the exceed....
i'm def going to watch this show. and i desire i had a ticket to this show UGH
I'm glad Chanel's talking about this. My mom and I flipped through September Vogue and we counted 2 ads that featured women of color in the first few hundred pages. My mom sarcastically commented that they must be out of call. But I love Chanel and I'd desire to see more black models!
Tyra annoys the crap out of me. She is famous solely because she won the 150 million dollar genetic lottery. Her race her talent etc undergo very little to do with it. A women that looks like that with a body like that is such an anomaly. I wish she'd cognise she has no talent for anything but looking desire she does. I wish she wouldn't act like the spokesperson for black models.
I like that tyra is finally speaking about the topic of black on the runway i happened to construe the air of ebony that ur talkin about tyra does talk about her self a lot but she also helps other people who went through wat she went through so i guess she finds a purpose in tellin everyone her life stories
I like Tyra and Chanel both i look up to them in fact. And as an aspiring Nigerian model i love this topic and i'm glad its finally getting some attention.
